Tippaly is the live and kicking UK talent, and with his mixtape ‘Checking Inn’, he surely is set to gain a lot of fans who no doubted will be astounded by his performance throughout this E.P. ‘Checking Inn’ mainly consist of a lot of up tempo rhythms, designed to arouses your ear drums and get your body moving. However, Tippaly is not an artist who needs to rely on catchy beats to carry him through, as he is able to match the music performs on with his talent as an artist.
Upon listening to this E.P, there are a few qualities you can quite easily gather about the character Tippaly. On many of his songs he rhymes with a strong passion and emphasis on many words, as if he was recalling past events in his mind as he wrote his songs. As quite of few of his songs revolve around women, it is fair to say he may have had his fair share of dramatic relationships in the past, but even so, this still does not prevent him from keeping his game face on, and push forth in striving to live the life of a superstar.
‘Treat U Like Your X’ is one of my favourite songs from the E.P. The music production is great, and Tippaly keeps his flow, strong and consistent the whole way through, and this is without the use of any music breaks or choruses, yet his style of flow is more than capable of keeping you entertained. ‘Glass House’ is also another one of my preferred tracks, I could not stop my body from bouncing up and down as I pumped this anthem through the stereo, truly captivating music.

The music video for ‘Everybody Knows’ performed by Drahmah is finally here, in which Drahmah has come to tell the world what he is all about, where he comes from and where he plans to go in his life. ‘I feel like I’m, I’m in a dark place and I’m trapped in my own body’, this is one the lines taken from this song. I’ am sure we can all relate to being in a position in life where we believe we do not belong, yet we have no way of escaping. This is the theme that is carried mostly through the first verse of Drahmahs song, but as the track goes on, he states to the world that he will embrace his talents, and that achieving success in life is not an option for him.
The video is very interestingly shot, as in the beginning Drahmah is seen seated on the floor in the garbage disposal area, as if he was thrown out with the trash, as he remains unnoticed and worth nothing to the world. It is not long before he gathers the courage to stand up, and make himself known as ‘a monster’ and that in this world, he will not be trampled on by anybody, and will do anything that he can, to get what he desires.

This has got to be one of the most creative urban music videos I have seen to date, and it surely does look expensive. Fr3e has done well in performing their new single entitled ‘Let Me Go’ in this music video. To be free, is a dream that many of us carry today, but we all know that it is something that is hard to put forth in reality, as there is always something there to obstruct us from achieving that in which we have set our sights on. ‘Let Me Go’ is definitely a phrase I can see myself using, as I work towards that goal of achieving freedom from the constraints of modern life.
The video is shot using a drastic contrast between light and dark. On the one side the video is very dark and carries an airy atmosphere, when it presents the public being trapped by various constraints in life. However the lighter half of the video presents Fr3e as they perform in the desert embracing the heavenly blue skies as they now rest in the midst of freedom. Through imagery the video presents the idea that when one thinks outside of the norm they are frowned upon by society, and somewhat forced to resume a life in a manner that society deems acceptable, and in a fashion that those in power will have ultimate control over.

‘Be Someone’ Is the hot and sensational song presented by urban artist Jungle. With the beat pumping at a rate that will get the heart racing, you think it would be difficult to create a video that will complement this such an anthem. However the direction and location of this video is nothing short of excellent. I found it interesting as the video was shot in area, which was marked with a lot of graffiti. Graffiti is usually left by someone in order to leave their mark on the world, and present their talents to all those who come across it. Each marking is personal and unique to that individual and cannot be replicated with the same passion if merely imitated by another.
As Jungle walks through the streets in this video, it is almost as if he is contemplating his position in life, and is in a state where he is proclaiming and demanding that he becomes his own person, and follows his own rules and path which I am sure with his dedication and talent he will have no problem doing.

‘Will You Dance’ by J Redeye now comes with a hot music video, which has been made for all eyes to see. This video has surely brought the heat from this song to life. One really feels as though they are a part of the story and just like J Redeye in the video, the viewer is rendered a useless and unable to prevent the unfortunate events that are about to unfold.
The video starts off with a slow pace, and as the song progresses the movement of shots grow in an intensified manner, as the story to draw to a climax. J Redeyes performance in this video is excellent and you can really feel the stress and dilemma that his character is experiencing, as he feels hugely responsible for the life of a girl in which he truly has no real interest in, yet. her life lays in his hands and the decisions in which he makes.

Acen alongside Double M & J20 have launched their fantastic new video for their single ‘Ride The Wave’. This is definitely an anthem you can imagine being a huge club hit, with its simple yet catchy melody and chorus, it is a song you will be bouncing along to before you even get to the second verse.
The video has been filmed in a dark and gritty context, almost as if it were shot in the sinister corners of the famous ‘Gotham City’. Using strongly defined tones of colour the video imagery really does blend well with the dark theme of the musical production, which has managed to create a calm sensation and will have almost anybody doing the 2-step routine, and for those of you that are too cool to dance, I am sure that a simple head nod is not too much to ask for.

‘Somebody Slap Me’ is the short and sweet grime mixtape by Avalanch. On this E.P it was the first time that I have ever heard a grime song with such a strong R&B lovers type theme, it was certainly something different for me. However don’t be deceived by the soft tone of the track ‘It’s You’ as Avalanch does carry with him a strong and unbreakable sound in his music.
Relentless has made fantastic work in producing the music that is featured on this E.P as Avalanch does a great job in matching the music production with his style of rap. This has resulted in a great combination of sound between artist and producer.
‘It’s You’ has to be my favourite track from the album. The music production has a quality that is very much to be desired, as it has put a very unique and fresh spin on the grime genre. ‘You’re A Liar’ is also a fantastic song, dealing with the issues of wannabe gangsters so to speak, who are always willing to talk the talk, but can never match their actions with their words.
